About This Experience
This is the journey that defines Morocco. Over three unforgettable days, you'll cross the High Atlas Mountains, discover UNESCO World Heritage kasbahs, wind through dramatic gorges, and finally arrive at Erg Chebbi — the magnificent sea of sand dunes surrounding Merzouga. Sleep under the stars in a luxury desert camp, ride camels at sunrise and sunset, and experience the deep silence and beauty of the Sahara.
Daily Program

Day 1 — Marrakech → Merzouga (~10h drive with stops)
- Pickup from your hotel in Marrakech
- Scenic drive over the Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass (2,260m altitude)
- Visit to the Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou (UNESCO World Heritage Site) — guided tour (local guide available for €2/person)
- Drive through the Drâa Valley and Dadès Gorges
- Dinner and overnight in a guesthouse hotel (private room with AC & en-suite bathroom)

Day 2 — Gorges → Merzouga → Desert Camp
- Breakfast and departure
- Pass through the Todra Gorges
- Stop at the Tinghir area
- Arrival at Merzouga in the late afternoon
- Sunset camel ride into the dunes of Erg Chebbi to the desert camp
- Overnight in a luxury Berber camp (private tent)
- Traditional dinner, Berber music & drumming around the campfire
- Stargazing in the Sahara

Day 3 — Desert → Marrakech
- Wake up for the sunrise over the dunes (camel ride back or walk)
- Breakfast at the camp
- Optional: quad biking in the dunes (available locally, ~€60)
- Return drive to Marrakech via a different route
- Arrival in Marrakech in the evening
