Day 2: Marrakesh – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
After breakfast, your adventure through Morocco begins. We cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, one of the most scenic drives in the country. Along the way, we stop at Berber villages and the Telouet Kasbah, before reaching the world-famous Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and filming location for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

From here, we continue to Ouarzazate, also called the “Hollywood of Africa,” where we visit Kasbah Taourirt. The journey then takes us through the palm groves of Skoura and the Rose Valley of Kalaat Mgouna. We end the day in the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic cliffs, unique rock formations called “Monkey Toes,” and the serpentine Tissadrine road.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Todgha Gorges – Merzouga Desert
Today we travel deeper into Morocco’s desert landscapes. After breakfast, we drive to the Todgha Gorges, a paradise for hikers and rock climbers with its towering canyon walls. You will have time to walk and take photos before continuing toward Merzouga.
On the way, we pass through Erfoud, famous for fossils, and Rissani, a traditional town with one of Morocco’s most authentic souks. Arriving in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert, you will be welcomed with mint tea before starting a camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Watch the sunset over the desert, then enjoy a traditional dinner and music around the campfire at your luxury desert camp. Sleeping under the star-filled sky will be one of the highlights of your 9 days in Morocco from Marrakech itinerary.

Day 4: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fez
Wake up early for an unforgettable desert sunrise, then return by camel or 4×4. After breakfast, we leave Merzouga behind and follow the scenic road through the Ziz Valley, dotted with millions of palm trees.

We stop in Midelt for lunch, then continue into the Middle Atlas Mountains. In Azrou, we walk through the cedar forest where you may encounter Barbary macaques. The journey continues to Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland” for its alpine-style houses. Finally, we arrive in Fez, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, for an overnight stay.
